See what we do

At Envision Credit Union, our employees strive to improve the lives of residents in Tallahassee and surrounding communities. Our dedication to these volunteer and sponsorship efforts reinforces our belief that we all benefit from stronger communities.

Building Communities through our Foundations

At Envision, we are proud to support local charities and organizations through our community foundations, both birthed from our recent mergers with Focus Credit Union headquartered in Chattahoochee, FL, and Rose City Federal Credit Union headquartered in Thomasville, GA.  The Focus Foundation and The Rose City Foundation offer further support in and around the communities in which these credit unions were founded.  With a multi-year commitment from Envision, these foundations are designed to continue the efforts of building communities through volunteer and sponsorship opportunities. The dedication of these foundations reinforces our belief that we all benefit from strong communities.

Both of these foundations have been an excellent extension of Envision in offering monetary support to local organizations and non-profits that do good in their town, city, or region. While supporting education is an area of significant focus for Envision, the support of our foundations allows Envision to indirectly support groups within or outside of the educational realm.

Supporting the Best & Brightest

Founded in 2006, the Best & Brightest (B&B) Awards is designed to recognize and honor Leon County's excelling high school seniors. It is a partnership between local Leon County area public and private schools and World Class Schools of Leon County.  Unlike most scholarship programs, awards are not based solely on GPA.  The varying categories of the Best & Brightest Awards allow students who excel in a particular field to be rewarded for their hard work and dedication.  there is also emphasis on community service and civic duty.

In 2011, a new element to the B&B Awards was added: the 8th Grade Essay Contest.  This contest is integral in catching the attention of younger students in Leon County and instilling the importance of community service before they begin their high school careers.

Envision is proud to be the premier scholarship sponsor for the Best & Brightest each year since it's inception in 2006, offering $40,000 per year in scholarships to these students.

School Involvement Program

Our employees are volunteers who support the School Involvement Program (SIP).  Since 2013, we have partnered with a local Title I school to provide volunteers, support and mentoring for an entire school year.

Our employees give back to our community through this program by helping to mentor a child, volunteering in the classroom and assisting with school events throughout the year.  The SIP program was created by a group of Envision employees and is still operated by employee volunteers today.

Teacher Grants

Each quarter, we offer six $500 classroom grants to educators in our membership area totaling $12,000 of giveback directly to our teachers each year.  Teachers have used these grants to bring technology into the classroom, provide financial literacy to their students and to teach students about community service.

Swipe for Schools

With every swipe of an Envision VISA debit card, Swipe for Schools allows us to donate five cents to the Second Harvest of the Big Bend (up to $10,000 per year).  Since it's inception, we have been able to help Second Harvest provide meals to over 1200 kids throughout each year.
